Registration for Paulines Sponsored Walk (the “Event”) Participation
- Registration period is 20 November 2025 to 07 December 2025.
- Registration can be submitted via https://www.spc-connect.net/sponsoredwalk/ (the “Website”).
- The Organizer reserves the right of any changes and cancellation without prior notice. Please refer to the Website from time to time. For the cancellation of the event due to bad weather or other unforeseeable reasons, all sponsorship payments and donations will NOT be refunded.v
Fundraising & Donations
- Sponsorship paid at time of registration shall meet the following requirement. Minimum sponsorship requirement per (i) SPC student, SPCPS students and other full-time students is HK$175, (ii) other participants aged 18 or above is HK$500. Participants are encouraged to raise more sponsorship by inviting family, friends and colleagues to support you or your team in the Event. The deadline for The 175th Spirit Awards and The 175th Legacy Awards will be announced in due course.
- This is a fundraising event for the welfare of St. Paul’s College and St. Paul’s College Primary School (collectively, the “School”), please spread positivity and advocate for better School welfare only and refrain from using the platform for any agenda other than School welfare. All details provided by participants must not contain hate, discriminatory, sexual or illegal information or messages, and if found to violate the rule, we have the right to remove the content without prior notice.
Rules & Regulations
- All participants will be allocated a start time between 8:30 am and 9:30 am on the date of Event i.e. 08 March 2025. Please report to registration desk 30 minutes before your start time. Late registration will not be accepted.
- All participants must be in good health. People in heat and/or fever will not be admitted.
- All participants aged 13 or below, or SPCPS students must be accompanied by their parent or guardian
- During the Event period, in case of accidents caused by the participants, they are liable to the concerned parties and will be responsible for all medical and other expenses related to the accident.
- The Organizer, its sponsors, contractors, employees, staff, helpers, members, representatives and volunteers will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries to any participants nor spectators during the Event.
- By registration in this Event, participants agree to indemnify the Organizer, its sponsors, contractors, employees, staff, helpers, members, representatives and volunteers against all damages and claims which may arise.
- The Organizer and sponsors are irrevocably granted the right to photograph participants and have their name, voice, likeness and appearance made into photographs, sound, videos or multi-media recordings ("Recording") and to use the Recording in perpetuity throughout the world, in all media now known or hereafter devised for any purpose, whether in advertising or for purposes of trade or otherwise. Participants must acknowledge and agree that no payment or other compensation shall be payable by Organizer or Venue Sponsor in connection with the Recording or any use thereof.
- Participants must adhere to the Organizer’s rules and regulations. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to any person to the Event, or request any person to leave the Event, without refund of any sponsorship or money.
- Should the Event be cancelled due to weather or other circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer or in the case of a force majeure resulting in the Event being cancelled, no sponsorship or fee is refundable. Force majeure includes and is not limited to the Organizer being unable to perform its obligations or organize or hold the Event due to fire, flood, earthquake, or other severe natural disaster, civil disobedience, war, epidemic, or government intervention or the likelihood of such event or act.
- Once the Event T-shirt or souvenir is allocated or selected, it cannot be exchanged.
- Bib numbers are assigned by the Organizer and participants cannot exchange such numbers arbitrarily.
- The decision of the Organizer in respect of any matters of the Event shall be final.
Severe Weather
- If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted at any time from 6:00pm on the day before Event, the Event will be cancelled.
- If the Black or Red Rainstorm Signal is hoisted at any time from 6:00am on the Event day, the Event will be cancelled.
- In the event of cancellation due to bad weather or other unforeseeable reasons, an announcement will be made before 6:00am on the day of the Event on our website https://www.spc-connect.net/sponsoredwalk/ . For the cancellation of the Event due to bad weather or other unforeseeable reasons, all sponsorship, transportation fee and donation will go to the foundation for School welfare efforts of the Organizer.
SPCPS
- SPCPS students must register in a family unit. If siblings attend different classes, only one registration is required, and all sibling information will be added under one single account of the parent participant.
- SPCPS parents must declare that all the minor participants are direct family members.
- The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any accidents that occur to non-direct family members of the Participant during the Event.
- These terms and condition may be translated into Chinese. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.
